Tight end prospect Nathan Marcus of Glenbard West High in Glen Ellyn, Ill., has kept busy over the past month.
It was a visit that Marcus had been looking forward to for some time, and he wasn't disappointed.
"It was a great place," Marcus said. "I liked the people there."
Marcus spent enough time in Boston to really get a feel for the Eagles, and one other school.
"I saw them play against Duke and spent the day after touring the whole campus," Marcus said. "I also saw Harvard a little bit because they heard I was coming out and they wanted me to check it out."
As for Marcus other visits to Northwestern and Illinois?
"They were good," Marcus said. "I sat down and talked with all the head coaches and saw them practice."
Plus, recently the Glenbard West standout tight end picked up a new Big Ten offer.
"Indiana offered me recently," Marcus said.
A school that Marcus is definitely interested in, but hasn't had time to plan a visit just yet.
"There is a possibility I might visit them," Marcus said. "But I am not sure yet."
Another decision that might be coming up, sooner rather than later, is where Marcus decides to play his college ball.
"I am going to decide around when the season starts," Marcus said. "Maybe even earlier."
