White Continuing Visit Tour

Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) sophomore OLB William White recaps Michigan's practice and looks ahead to additional visits.

Detroit Cass Tech has a 6'1, 215-lb sophomore in William White who is beginning to hear from a number of BCS programs.

Last weekend, he visited Michigan, where the Wolverines have several former Cass Tech players on their roster.

"I didn't get to meet any coaches when I went up there," he explained. "I did see Big Will, Delonte Hollowell and Thomas Gordon."

White focused mostly on his position group, and liked what he saw.

"It was cool. I watched the linebackers a little bit. They are very disciplined and the practice was very fast. It was different than high school. The linebacker coach [Mark Smith] was a real cool guy. He was real good with the linebackers."

This week, White continues his Big Ten tour, and will look to branch out later this summer.

"I'm visiting Iowa this weekend and Wisconsin next weekend. I've been hearing a lot from Michigan State and Iowa, that's it. I'm going to be taking a visit to LSU this summer."
