6-foot-2, 278 pound defensive tackle Brant Gressel continues to impress schools. The junior out of Ohio just received his first Big Ten offer.
"Minnesota offered me," said Gressel. "I had heard a little bit from them via mail but I was still shocked by the offer. I have not visited before but I plan to visit sometime this spring or summer."
The DT plans on learning more about the Golden Gophers soon.
"I don't know much about them but I'm pretty interested. A Big Ten offer means a lot to me so it's an offer I'll consider a lot."
Over the course of a month, the junior has gone from two to 12 offers and is truly enjoying the recruitment process.
"It's an honor. I never thought I would have the opportunity to play college football, let alone BCS conference football. It's so cool."
With so many offers coming in, Gressel is beginning to think about when he'll ideally make his decision.
"Right now I'm thinking before my senior year starts, but if not right when it starts then soon after."
