The unofficial visit to Baton Rouge is the only recruiting trip that the talented defensive tackle has taken so far this year.
"I went to a Texas game last year," said Robinson. "I was supposed to go to Mississippi State, but I couldn't get a ride.
"I know this summer I am going to camps at Texas and Mississippi State and I will probably go to LSU for their camp too.
"I have been talking a lot with Coach (Chris) Wilson at Mississippi State, so I know I am going to their camp for sure."
The 6-2, 265 pounder believes he has a lot to offer a college program especially on the defensive front wall.
"I have been playing D tackle since my freshman year," said Robinson. "That's what I want to play in college too.
"I like it a lot and I am real comfortable playing inside and making plays."
The spring evaluation period will certainly bring a number of college coaches through Woodlawn High School to get a look at Robinson in action.
Schools still collecting info on Robinson appear to have some time to make a move.
"I don't have a favorite school right now," said Robinson. "I am going to wait and make a decision next year some time, probably February.
"I am looking for a good school with good academic programs and a good environment."
