NLA Elite 7on7: All-Underclass Team

A look at which underclassmen made a name for themselves at the Las Vegas NLA Elite 7on7...

Trent Irwin
Receiver, Newhall (Calif.) Hart
Just a freshman, Irwin is as polished as they come with a great frame, soft hands and poised beyond his years.

Rashead Johnson
Receiver, Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan
There were times when Johnson was the best receiver on the team for 1925, nice burst, sure hands.

Cameron Denson
Receiver, Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic
Denson was the one of the top sophomores in the West last year and showed why in Vegas.

Michiah Quick
Receiver, Fresno (Calif.) Central
The Junior receiver made plays on offense but looked equally impressive at corner.

Demetric Woodard
Cornerback, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite
Started for the Friars as a sophomore and was easily among the top corners in Vegas, regardless of year.

Marquis Ware
Athlete, Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian
Ware is an athletic jumbo athlete who looked good at linebacker and tight end.

Jamardre Cobb
Athlete, Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian
Big, physical linebacker who combined with Ware to form an imposing pair of linebackers.

Isaiah Brandt-Sims
Running Back, Wenatchee (Wash.)
Sophomore running back was one of the most explosive players in the tournament and was a tough cover out of the backfield.

Dalton Schultz
Tight End, South Jordan (Utah) Bingham
Has a great frame at 6-6, 200+ pounds and showed off some of the softest hands in the event.

Nathan Starks
Safety, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman
Starks made plays on both sides of the ball and physically, looks like a college player right now.

Jaleel Wadood
Safety (Calif.) Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco
Playmaking safety who will be a national recruit in two years, does everything well.
