Two Kentuckians seeing moves in recruiting

Kentucky has a number of D-1 prospects this year. It appears to be a pretty good year for linemen in Kentucky as a couple of these players have picked up offers recently.

Coming off of an offer from Kansas, Joey Bloomfield has been getting a lot of interest from several schools from the south and the midwestern region. But he picked up an offer from a school that seemed to come out of nowhere.

"I was offered (Thursday) by Wyoming. I am truly blessed," Bloomfield said on his facebook page.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound lineman will have a chance to pick up more interest and scholarships as the camp season emerges.

Another prospect who is picking up steam is Owensboro Catholic lineman Logan Cart. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive tackle had picked up scholarship offers from Western Kentucky and Arkansas State. But the junior decided to go with the Red Wolves.

"It was the campus. Everything, the family environment here between the coaches and the players. It's crazy," said to Joel Cox of Scout.com.

Cart picked Arkansas State over interest from Kentucky, Ole Miss and Missouri.
