Towbridge needs to reschedule

The ACT test interfered with Keith Towbridge's initial plans to visit Nebraska for their spring game on April 14th. Towbridge was planning on visiting Nebraska in April though and actually still be able to check out some spring practices before the spring game on Saturday. Those plans are changing now as well.

Nebraska could be looking for a couple of tight ends in the 2012-13 class and they have their eyes on Keith Towbridge for one of the spots possibly. Nebraska was supposed to host Towbridge this weekend, but he has to take the ACT test.

"I would have liked to have visited Nebraska this Saturday," Towbridge said. "I would have liked to, but I have to take my ACT this Saturday."

In a previous interview Towbridge said that he was going to visit Lincoln the week leading up to the spring game. That plan changed as well because of another ACT related activity.

"I couldn't go this week either. I had to take the ACT prep. But, I would like to make a trip to Nebraska pretty soon. I just don't have a date set when I will be going."

It's clear that Towbridge wants to get to Nebraska and once the ACT is behind him this weekend a plan could come together pretty quickly. Stay tuned to BigRedReport.com for the latest on Nebraska recruiting.
