As one of the top prospects in the country, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas defensive end Joey Bosa has atrracted an impressive offer list. He recently narrowed his list to five schools: Florida, Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State and Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-5, 262-pound, athlete is in the midst of a Midwest tour that will take him to Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan this week. Bosa has visited Florida, Alabama and Florida State previously.

"I had a great experience at Wisconsin," Bosa stated. "Going up to Wisconsin reminded me again how much I loved it there, because I kind of forgot over the time between my last time there. Everything was great at Wisconsin, and I will definitely consider them strongly."

Bosa, the son of former Miami Dolphins star John Bosa, also talked about distance from home, and when he hopes to make his final decision.

"Distance from home will not be a problem for me at all," he explained. "Right now, we are driving to Ohio State, and then we will be going to Michigan on Saturday. This is a good opportunity to see these three schools. I'm probably going to be making my decision before my senior year."

Bosa, who carries a 3.45 GPA at St. Thomas Aquinas, is currently listed as the number-two ranked defensive end in the country.

EVALUATION: There is not much you don't like when watching Bosa in action. He is a big defensive lineman that plays with good pad level and he consistently fires off the ball. He gets penetration and helps collapse the pocket on the high school level. In college, he will be a quick interior lineman or a strong and physical end. He has a lot of room to grow still into his frame and he is only going to get better. - Chad Simmons
