Naim Mustafaa is one of the top defensive prospects in the Peach State and he visited Auburn on Saturday. He talks about the visit here.
"I decided to visit Auburn on Saturday and it was a good visit," Naim Mustafaa said. "I got to stand on the sideline during the game and I met with the coaches afterwards, so it was all good."
The coaches that Mustafaa met with were Gene Chizik, Brian VanGorder, and Mike Pelton. They all said about the same thing to the 6-foot-4, 235 pound Alpharetta, Ga. native.
"They let me know how they need defensive ends, they talked about how their spring practice went, and things like that."
The attention from the coaches is one thing that stood out to Mustafaa during the visit.
"They showed me a lot of love and that was one of the things that stood out to me. I also liked how I got to watch the game from the sidelines and it was cool to catch up with Cameron Newton too."
The Tigers have not cracked Mustafaa's top two, but they did close the gap some.
"Auburn moved up to number three for me," said the no. 19 ranked defensive end on Scout. "Georgia Tech and Tennessee are still my top two."
Mustafaa plans to visit Georgia Tech again this week and he could make a decision by the summer.
