Dorsey duo a package deal?

Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey is home to two of the state's top defensive backs. Safety Jayme Otomewo and corner Daquawn Brown both picked up an offer from Arizona State over the weekend and the two would love to play their college ball together.

Daquawn Brown had a very good showing at the recent IMG/Madden 7 on 7 tournament earning all tourney honors following the event. He's known as one of top corners in the region but played a lot of safety and looked very good at receiver as well.

Jayme Otomewo took the ACT and wasn't able to participate but still received good news on Sunday.

"I was very excited with the Arizona State offer," Otomewo said. "They offered me and Daquawn so that was exciting. We want to play together in college but we don't have a lot of offers in common.

"This is big since ASU is a good school in the Pac 12. I don't know when, but we're going to visit for sure. I don't know if it will be in the summer or just an official visit but we're going to check it out."

Brown was equally excited.

"I thought they actually offered me a month ago but now it's official," Brown said. "Me and Jayme always talk about playing together so this was great. San Jose State has also offered both of us along with ASU. This Saturday, we're going to UCLA to watch their spring practice so that should be cool as well."

In addition to ASU and SJSU, Brown has offers from Cal and Washington State. Otomewo has been offered by Colorado.
