When asked who 5-foot-11, 175 pound receiver Marshall Howell would compare his style of play to, the junior didn't hesitate with his answer.
"Definitely Sammy Watkins from Clemson. He's quick and electrifying. When he gets the ball in his hands, great things happen."
And just like Watkins, Howell is hoping to follow his dreams and play at the next level. The receiver got one step closer to his goal when he picked up his first offer from Toledo.
"I went to their Spring Game and they offered me while I was there. I really like the coaches."
The junior who doesn't have a dream school also says he's been hearing a lot from Northwestern lately.
This summer, Howell and some of his Benedictine (OH) teammates are hitting the road and checking out different programs.
"Starting on June 15th, I think we're heading to Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Michigan State."
Howell says he doesn't have a timetable for when he hopes to commit but says that he's hoping to find a school not too far away from home with good academics.
