The La Mirada (Calif.) athlete, Tyler Luatua, got an offer from the national champions...
A week after his brother received a national championship ring, La Mirada (Calif.) 2014 athlete Tyler Luatua was given an opportunity to join him.
Luatua, one of the top 2014 prospects in the West, was offered by Alabama, the school his brother Isaac is a freshman lineman at.
Last fall, Isaac redshirted for the Tide during their 2011 BCS National Championship season.
On Monday, the younger Luatua got the news from Alabama.
"Alabama offered Tyler," said La Mirada head coach Mike Moschetti. "They offered him as a tight end."
Its the fourth offer for Luatua, who also counts verbal offers from Colorado, Nebraska and UCLA already.
And a number of schools have plans to come by, with two there on Monday.
"Kennedy Polamalu from USC and Boise State's defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski were at school this morning watching us condition," said Moschetti.
