Orlando Nike Camp: Top RB's

The Nike Training Camp stopped in Orlando on Sunday and Scout was there for all the action. Lets take a look at the top running backs at the event.

MVP: Ryan Green. At 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, Green put on a show at this event. He came into the event as being considered the top running back prospect and left little doubt about it. He's extremely fast and explosive and did a tremendous job during drills and 1-on-1 drills.

Top 2013 Prospect: Green. One of the state's fastest and most explosive running back prospects, Green calls Florida State, Florida, and Notre Dame his top three choices right now. Oklahoma commit Greg Bryant (American Heritage) is also a very talented prospect whose game is less designed for this type of event (he's more of a smash-mouth, between-the-tackles style runner). Bryant was very impressive, too.

Sleeper: Wadzaire Blanc. At 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds, Blanc was outstanding on the field in 2011. As just a sophomore, he ran for over 1,000 yards, had over 500 receiving, scored 15 touchdowns, and even had 31 tackles on defense. South Carolina has already offered and it's still early. He was impressive again at this event and should see his recruiting stock continue to rise.

Top Notable: Jacques Patrick. Blanc wasn't the only major prospect among the underclassmen at the event. At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Patrick was probably the youngest player to participate. The Timber Creek standout is only going to be a sophomore but he's already had a 1,000-yard season (at East River HS). He has a tremendous skill set and already claims offers from Florida State and Florida. He's a major college prospect who will be fun to watch over the next few years.
