2013 Intro: Madison County (Fla) OL

Ira Denson is a talented offensive guard from Madison County High so lets take a closer look at him as a prospect.

Name: OG Ira Denson

School: Madison County HS (Madison, Fla)

Size: 6-4/320

2011 season stats: Denson played right tackle and helped his team rush for almost 3,000 yards on the ground last season. His team also played for the state title.

Grades: 3.2 GPA/16 ACT score

Recruiting: "Florida State was my favorite school growing up," Denson said. "My top four college choices are Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, and Florida."

"Education and just being able to play football," said Denson, who claims offers from FIU and Western Kentucky, about what he'll be looking for in a school.

As a Prospect: With ideal size for a major college guard prospect, Denson has the footwork and skillset to play right tackle at a high level as well. He best projects inside. He knows the game. He's very strong. He can move laterally. He has experience playing along the defensive side of the ball. He was the offensive line MVP of the Nike Camp in Orlando with an outstanding performance there. He has two offers now but expect that number to grow a lot in the next several weeks as college coaches make their way through his school. He's very good.
