Joey Bosa committed to Ohio State on Monday over a number of top programs. What are the Buckeyes getting in Bosa? Find out here.

Prospect: Joey Bosa
Hometown: Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
High School: St. Thomas Aquinas
Position: Defensive End
Size: 6-5/265
Ranking: No. 2 DE, No. 24 Overall
Committed To: Ohio State

Analysis: There is a lot to like about Bosa and his game on the football field. He plays with a lot of energy, a lot of fire, and a lot of passion. His energy carries over to his teammates and he is one of those guys that makes others around him better because of his effort.

As a player, he is versatile. He is big enough and quick enough to play defensive end or he could move inside to the three-technique and play some defensive tackle. He would be a speed guy on the inside hitting gaps and getting up field. On the edge, he can secure the edge, he can play the run, and he really be the anchor for one side of the defense. I expect Ohio State to move him around because he is that good.

He is tall, but he still plays with good pad level, he keeps his hands active, and there are not many that are more technically sound than he is. He's long and he knows how to use his length to his advantage when disengaging with offensive linemen. He fires off the ball, he plays responsibly, and is a leader. There are many reasons why he was recruited the was he was and ranked where he is on Scout.
