Junior Dalyn Dawkins is a key component of the Trinity offensive machine. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back led the Shamrocks in rushing and touchdowns last season.

Dawkins rushed for 1901 yards and 28 touchdowns on the way to a 14-0 record and several championships. Because of his dominant performance, he was able to pick up a few scholarship offers going into his senior season.

"Yes, I have some offers. My offers are Illinois, Purdue, Western Kentucky, Ball State and Colorado State," Dawkins said.

Dawkins also made a couple of visits this spring that he enjoyed.

"Yes, I took visits to Ohio State and Illinois," he said. "I liked them both a lot," he continued.

At this point, Dawkins looks like one of the best running backs of recent years in Kentucky, but he's not satisfied with what he's accomplished at this point. He's ready to step into his senior season as an even better player.

"I'm lifting more and I'm running track to get faster," said Dawkins. "I'm very excited for my senior football season. I look forward to being a leader and accomplishing great things," he finished.
