Taylor Has Date in Mind

Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea athlete Tatum Taylor talked about his timeline for making a college decision…

Seattle (Wash.) O'Dea athlete Tatum Taylor holds offers from Idaho, Purdue, Utah, Washington State and Wyoming.

"That's where things still stand for football," said Taylor. "I am also hearing from UCLA, Oregon and Oregon State."

Taylor has been busy this spring with track as well as taking unofficial visits in his free time.

"I went to practice at Washington State and UCLA," said Taylor. "This weekend I was Oregon for a track meet."

Taylor is getting attention from all over the West, but singled out one program for recruiting him the hardest.

"I would say Washington State," said Taylor. "They have definitely sent me the most stuff."

Taylor is also starting to get an idea as to when he would like to make a final decision.

"My family talked about it. If not my birthday then I would say I will wait until February 3rd, signing day," said Taylor. "My birthday is September 8th and that is probably the day."

Taylor would like to take some official visits this fall and has started to narrow down the programs that he will visit.

"I know Washington State is going to get one for sure. If Oregon offered I would visit for sure," said Taylor. "I plan on UCLA for an official too."

Taylor has a pair of camps on his calendar for the rest of the spring.

"I plan on going to UCLA 7on7 camp," said Taylor. "I am trying to get into The Opening, I'll probably go to the Eugene Nike camp to try and get that."
