6-foot-4, 220 pound junior Alec James has been one of the top prospects in Wisconsin. On Saturday afternoon, the defensive end made his way back to Madison for their Spring Game.
"It went really well. I got to meet with the head strength coach, which is something I really wanted to do. Also, my grandparents got to meet everyone, which was important to me. The atmosphere was great. There were a lot of dedicated fans and I liked what they did for the Kids Day. Overall the visit went very well."
Even after such a successful visit, James isn't ready to commit to the Badgers.
"I still need to talk with my family about everything. I'll probably make my decision by July. I like Michigan State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame so far, in no order, but I'm still keeping an open mind."
So, what are some other schools trying to get into the mix with the junior?
"Clemson and TCU are both very interested in me."
While his decision might be a couple of months away, the defensive end does know what will be the most important factor when it comes to making his decision.
"Trust in the coaches and how close I feel with them. Also how my family feels."
James also holds offers from Illinois, Iowa State, Minnesota and Western Michigan.
