Quick Hitter: Ogundeko's 'Crazy Day'

Heading into Monday, Ebenezer Ogundeko was expecting a visit from Syracuse to kick off his week. But a trio of additional schools showed up to Brooklyn (NY) Jefferson High to see him - and more offers were handed out.

Syracuse was the only school scheduled to see Ebenezer Ogundeko on Monday, he told Scout.

But shortly into his day at Brooklyn (NY) Jefferson High School, Ogundeko let us know that it had become a "crazy, crazy day."

"Michigan, Notre Dame and Marshall came to my school at the same time," he said. "They just offered."

Ogundeko admitted that he hadn't had much previous contact with either of the schools before Monday, but the verbal extensions pushed his total over 20 - all before Syracuse even got the chance to speak to him.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect is one of the hottest in America right now, picking up several offers each week. Recently, Oguneko informed Scout that his "slight" top six was Syracuse, Connecticut, Alabama, Florida, Arizona State and Boise State.

With the new schools in the mix, FOX Sports Next and Scout will have much more on his whirlwind recruitment going forward. Stay tuned.
