Kentucky Country Day junior was one of the state's most prolific quarterbacks. Because of his play, several teams have shown interest and a handful checked him out on campus last week.

"Recruiting is going well. Just last week coaches from Kentucky, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky and Cincinnati came to my school," he said. I'll be going to those schools' one day camps," he finished.

Meanwhile in Knox Central athlete Jeffrey Canady picked up his second offer last week from Eastern Kentucky. He also got visits from a couple of other in-state programs.

"Jeffrey picked up his second offer from Eastern Kentucky Tuesday night," said Jeff Canady Sr. "Coach Hood made the offer, he said.

Kentucky and Louisville both visited Canady Friday. Coach Nord from Kentucky and Coach Carter from Louisville were expected on campus.

"Coach Holt from Western Kentucky and Coach Hall from Arkansas State will be at Knox Central (this week). Vanderbilt and Cincinnati will be down soon," said Mr. Canady.

A number of other prospects in Kentucky are emerging as D-1 prospects and Scout.com will bring you updates on these prospects in the coming weeks. Franklin County quarterback Logan Woodside (Jr.), North Hardin linebacker Michael Brunson (Jr.) and two-way lineman Matthew Elam from John Hardin (Jr.) are all on the agenda in coming weeks.
