Dawgs offer 2014 TE

Georgia became the fourth school to offer one of the top 2014 tight ends in the South on Monday. Get the latest here.

"I called up Coach [Tony] Ball today and he just real casually told me that Georgia wanted to offer me," Jeb Blazevich told Scout. "He then directed the conversation toward building a relationship with the staff and the place which I respected."

The offer from UGA is the fourth for Blazevich. Duke, North Carolina, and South Carolina have offered him as well.

Athens is a place the 6-foot-5, 240 pound tight end has heard of, but it is not somewhere he has visited.

"The only things I know about Athens is, it is a crazy place to play, and that a lot of people have had good things to say about it."

The talented sophomore is focused on his junior season at Charlotte Christian, but he'd like to visit UGA this summer if he has the time. His team comes first.

Expect to hear much more about Blazevich on Scout in the future. He has the size, toughness, hands, flexibility, and football smarts you look for in a tight end.
