Three More For Ohio Lineman

Sam Coverdale is one of the hottest names in Ohio right now in football recruiting circles. He has landed three BCS offers this week, bringing his total offer count to 13. Who are the latest to offer the Kenston tackle?

Kenston three-star offensive tackle Sam Coverdale has came out of nowhere in the past few months to become one of Ohio's hottest recruits.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound, offensive tackle has drawn serious recruiting interest since his film was distributed and he holds 13 offers to date, including three new ones this week.

"This week I've been offered by Virginia, Boston College and Arizona State," Coverdale stated. "The Boston College offer came from (offensive line coach) Jim Bollman, who knew of me from his days at Ohio State. All three schools are great offers, and I'm thrilled with all of them."

Coverdale is also a top performer in the classroom, and he also has an offer from Harvard. Some of his other offers are Illinois, Cincinnati, Northwestern and Louisville.

He will be visiting Vanderbilt in the near future, and that is an offer he covets, as both of his parents are graduates of the school.
