Cali WR has two visits in mind

Culver City (Calif.) wide out Julius Wilson picked up a new offer out of the Big 10 and said he has two schools he knows he wants to officially visit.

Julius Wilson is one of the top pass catchers in the region. He has been compared to former Centaur receiver and Washington State standout Michael Bumpus but with more speed and explosiveness.

On the recruiting front, Wilson has offers from Cal, Nebraska, San Diego State, UCLA, Utah State, Washington and Washington State and just landed his second Big 10 offer earlier this week.

"Illinois just offered," Wilson said. "I've also had a lot of colleges come by our school. So far, Washington State, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Arizona State and Fresno State have all been by so things have been good so far."

Wilson has been to USC and UCLA already and said he plans to take a few unofficial trips in the summer but isn't sure just where yet.

"I'm still sorting that out but I know I want to get out and visit a few places for sure," Wilson said. "I'm pretty busy right now with school, track and studying for the SAT, which I'm taking this Saturday. Once that's over, I'll figure that out.

"I plan on doing my official visits in the fall and I don't want to make an early commitment. I know I for sure want to visit San Diego State and Washington. I'm not saying those are my leaders but I'm very interested in both and excited to see them up close and learn more about each of them."
