Offer Close for Shipley

Wilsonville (Ore.) wide receiver Tanner Shipley broke down his recruitment and laid out his schedule for the summer…

Wilsonville (Ore.) wide receiver Tanner Shipley has been busy this spring, taking on as many camps, 7on7's and unofficial visits as possible.

"I just got off a visit from BYU that went really well," said Shipley. "We went to Oregon and Oregon State… those went well. Oregon is just amazing with their technology and stuff. Oregon State, I liked all the coaches, the same with BYU."

In addition to the schools he has visited, Shipley is hearing from a list of Northwest programs.

"I have been hearing from Idaho, Montana, Montana State and Boise State," said Shipley. "I have been talking to a lot of schools, it's pretty exciting."

While he is still waiting for his first offer, Shipley thinks a couple could be close to pulling the trigger.

"Probably BYU, Portland State and Oregon State are close," said Shipley.

Shipley also has some camps lined up for the rest of the spring.

"I am going to Oregon again," said Shipley. "I have a couple Barton Combines, May 6 and May 26th. I will be at the NFTC in Eugene."
