One who stood out was Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary athlete Jordan Hargrove, 6-foot, 175-pounds.
"I was really happy with my performance at the Nike Camp," Hargrove stated. "I could have done better, but I was satisfied with how I played. It was great going against a lot of talented players, and it showed me I can compete with anyone. That helped my confidence."
Last season, Hargrove excelled for the Irish, catching 51 passes for over 900 yards, and scoring 13 touchdowns.
"My junior year was a breakout year for me, and I did what I had to do to help my team win," he explained. "I understand the mental part of the game, and understanding how to play the position. I also run great routes and catch the football. I'm working on lowering my forty-yard time."
Although he holds no offers to date, several schools are showing interest in Hargrove.
"I'm hearing from schools like West Virginia, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Akron, Missouri, Toledo, Michigan State, and a few others," he reported. "I've been to see Michigan, Ohio State, Toledo and Akron for unofficial visits."
"All these schools want to see me in camp and watch me perform in person," he continued. "I'm hoping to land offers after schools are able to see me. I will be going on the Raw Talent Sports bus tour, and we will be stopping at a lot of schools."
