Prospects from a number of states competed at Hough High School Sunday in the NIKE Football Training Camp. Scout was there to cover the event and some of the participants could see their ranking improve after their performance.

Larenz Bryant - OLB - 6-1/210 - Charlotte, N.C.-Vance
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 9 OLB
What Stood Out: This linebacker performed about as well as I linebacker can in a camp setting. He was very impressive in coverage, he closed on the receivers well, and he got his hands on many ball. He is an explosive athlete.
Recruiting Notes: Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, South Carolina, and Oregon are his top schools.

Riley Ferguson - QB - 6-2/190 - Matthews, N.C.-Butler
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 46 QB
What Stood Out: Ferguson was on his game Sunday. He really threw the ball well, he made good decisions, and he stuck the ball into some tight windows. He was as accurate as Scout has seen him over the last three years.
Recruiting Notes: Open right now, but would like to commit this summer. Alabama and South Carolina have had him on campus this year.

Khris Francis - RB - 5-9/193 - Durham, N.C.-Hillside
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 86 RB
What Stood Out: What stood out as much as anything when talking Francis was his toughness. He did a nice job in the blocking drills and he showed good strength. He also displayed good, quick cuts throughout the day.
Recruiting Notes: Committed to North Carolina.

Jalen Latter - CB - 5-9/163 - Charlotte, N.C.-Vance
Current Ranking on Scout: NR
What Stood Out: This was a prospect that snuck up on Scout. He is not a big name right now, but he could be before all is said and done. He is an athlete that played corner and he played physical with good speed. He showed good ball skills as well.
Recruiting Notes: Navy has offered and Georgia Tech is a school showing a lot of interest.

Desmond Lawrence - S - 6-1/175 - Charlotte, N.C.-Charlotte Christian
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 36 S
What Stood Out: Lawrence was a little quicker than expected on Sunday. He has good length, he made good plays on the ball, and he showed good coverage skills. He is a long safety that can cover.
Recruiting Notes: Committed to North Carolina.

Uriah LeMay - WR - 6-2/190 - Charlotte, N.C.-Vance
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 44 WR
What Stood Out: LeMay showed very strong hands throughout the camp Sunday. He snatched the ball well away from his body and he continued to get open all afternoon. He is a little quicker than he was this time last year.
Recruiting Notes: Recently narrowed his list to 10 and will cut it to five in the coming weeks.

Tyquan Lewis - DE - 6-4/225 - Tarboro, N.C.-Tarboro
Current Ranking on Scout: No. 48 DE
What Stood Out: The first thing that jumped out to us about Lewis was his size. He has gotten a lot bigger in the upper-body since last year and he used that strength on Sunday. He is still a quick end, but is becoming that balanced end.
Recruiting Notes: Open to everyone right now.
