6-foot-3, 205 pound junior Marcus Ball has become a hot commodity. He has over a dozen offers and has picked up his 2nd ACC offer within a week, from North Carolina State.
"They offered me today," said Ball. "I don't know much about them, but I like the state and the coaching staff. I'm fairly interested in them right now. I would need to visit to know more about them and their program."
While a lot of schools are recruiting Ball as a safety, the Wolfpack might have a different thing in mind.
"They said they want me to get there and see for themself what position they like me as."
The junior recently said that his top five schools were Boston College, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Pittsburgh and Purdue. But whit his list constantly changing, he admits he's not sure when he'll be able to make his commitment.
"I don't know yet. I don't really have a top in general. I'm still in the process of narrowing down, but it's hard with new offers coming in."
So when the time comes, what will affect Ball's decision?
"I'm not sure. I guess how honest of a man the coaches come off to me, what he stands for and how early I can make an impact."
