Connor Mitch - QB - 6-3/210 - Raleigh (N.C.) Wakefield
Ranking on Scout: No. 39 QB
Scouting Report: Mitch three for for over 3,000 yards and for 35 touchdowns as a junior, so he knows how to get the ball to his receivers. He gets rid of the ball quickly, he is an intelligent quarterback, and he has a high release. He is used to playing out of the shot-gun, so that will not be an issue when he makes the move to USC's offense.
David Johnson - DE - 6-1/248 - Lithonia (Ga.) Lithonia
Ranking on Scout: No. 64 OLB
Scouting Report: Johnson is a gamer. He plays hard, he loves to compete, he is strong at the point of attack, and he is a wildcard type on the next level. He reminds Scout of an Eric Norwood type of player that Carolina can move around to create the best mismatch. He should have an impact early in Columbia.
Devin Washington - DE - 6-3/220 - Orlando (Fla.) Jones
Ranking on Scout: No. 45 DE
Scouting Report: Washington is a speed rush guy off the edge. He loves to line up outside the tackle, get off the ball quickly, and pursue the quarterback. If he stays playing with his hand down, he will need to gain weight, get stronger, and play better against the run. He could get a at outside linebacker as well. He is simply at his best when turned loose to rush the passer.
Pharoh Cooper - WR - 5-11/175 - Havelock (N.C.) Havelock
Ranking on Scout: NR
Scouting Report: Cooper has great ball skills and he is very good in the open field with the ball in his hands, but he may be best in the secondary. He is a physical player, he has the speed suited to play defense, and he could be a strong corner or a ball-hawking safety. Him playing offense or defense is a possible with his skill set.
