Cass Tech's Hamilton Has First Offer

Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) junior OG Dominick Hamilton talks about his Central Michigan offer.

Detroit Cass Tech's physical guard Dominick Hamilton landed his first scholarship offer yesterday, an exciting moment for the 6'3, 297-lber.

"Central Michigan offered," he reported. "It was a blessing."

Hamilton is just starting to pop onto the radar for some schools, but has fielded interest from a number of FBS programs.

"I have a lot of schools talking to me. I talked to Florida, Arkansas, Ball State, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Iowa, that's it."

As for visits, Hamilton said, "Only Illinois. They said they'll keep in touch with me, that's about it. Arkansas told me to come out there. They're really interested 'cause they need another center."

Hamilton says he is being recruited mostly as a center.
