"Mississippi State is on top right now," said Jordan. "I just feel the best about them.
"I like how everything over there is like a family. They treat you like family and the team is a family.
"Once you're a Bulldog, you're always a Bulldog. You're part of that family.
"I feel like once I get to know the players over there better, that I could do good there."
The talented defensive back is getting his fair share of recruiting attention and he expects some new offers to come his way before the season rolls around.
"I want to go to Alabama's camp and I know I am going to Mississippi State's camp too. I will probably go check out Ole Miss' camp too.
"I am planning on heading down to Louisiana too to see what that's about."
Jordan reports that his deliberations will continue despite elevating Mississippi State to the lead position.
"I really like Mississippi State, but I am still deciding," said Jordan. "I am not sure when I am going to make my decision, but it's going to be a while.
"It might be after the season. I just don't know for sure."
With recruiting pretty much on the back burner, Jordan is doing what he can to finish out the spring strong.
"Spring practice has been going really good," said Jordan. "Practice has been real intense. I feel like we have a lot more intensity than we had last year.
"I am playing on both sides of the ball now and I like that. I want to do all I can to help my team."
