Venables was by to see commitment Isaac McDonald and target Charles
"Coach Venables came by today for practice," Williams told CUTigers
on Wednesday night. "Florida, Boston College, South Carolina and some
other schools have come by."
Williams, the No. 36 safety in the class of 2013, has offers from Clemson,
Illinois, Louisville, Purdue, South Carolina, South Florida, Texas Tech,
Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
The three-star prospect plans to make several visits this summer.
"I know a couple of them I'm going to be going to for sure, like North
Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and USF," he said.
Williams last visited Clemson in the spring to check out the Tigers'
"I got a chance to walk around, see their facilities, see the academics
and watch practice. It was a good time to be there in Clemson," he said.
A decision won't be made until he takes his officials.
"I'm probably going to make a decision on what school I'm going to go to
until I take all of my visits," Williams said.
As a junior, he had 40 tackles. On the offensive side of the ball,
Williams scored 21 touchdowns as Champagnat Catholic's quarterback.
