Scout.com has confirmed that Peoria (Az.) Centennial RB Jalen Ortiz has received a new scholarship offer, his 11th overall.
Ortiz says, "Iowa State just offered."
Ortiz has also been offered by Boise State, Washington State, UCLA, Utah, BYU, Oregon State, Arizona State, Arizona, and Washington.
Ortiz (5-10 185) rushed for 1,106 yards and 14 TDs in 2011. He also caught 14 passes for 255 yards and more 5 TDs for the Coyotes. He is being recruited on both sides of the ball. "Iowa State says I can play where ever I want," Ortiz adds.
