Wednesday was another busy day out West with a slew of offers going out to top prospects and Notre Dame being especially active in the Southland...

  • Notre Dame was busy out West on Wednesday, particularly at Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.  The Irish were there to check in on offered four-star receiver Francis Owusu and later in the evening, they offered 2014 quarterback Brandon Dawkins and 2015 offensive lineman Reno Rosene.  Dawkins was the California Sophomore of the Year in 2011 and Rosene was a Freshman All-American.

  • American Canyon (Calif.) athlete Chris Seisay got his seventh offer and fourth from the Pac-12 when Colorado offered.

  • Texas Tech got verbal commitments from College of Sequoias (Calif.) defensive backs Darren Doston and Stormey Butler.

  • Redlands (Calif.) receiver Walter Jones got his first BCS offer, from Utah.

  • Redlands (Calif.) running back Darryl Miller landed his first offer, from Nevada.

  • San Clemente (Calif.) offensive lineman Sean Harlow picked up his first Big Ten offer, from Nebraska.

  • Grass Valley (Calif.) Nevada Union linebacker Tanner Vallejo was offered by San Diego State.

  • La Mirada (Calif.) 2014 athlete Tyler Luatua picked up an offer from Florida State.

  • Encino (Calif.) Crespi safety Tyler Foreman was offered by Cal.

  • Monrovia (Calif.) receiver Mason Bryant got an offer from Army.

  • Concord (Calif.) De La Salle linebacker Victor Egu said that Nebraska, Notre Dame, Nevada, Northwestern, Washington State, Arizona and Army have all offered in the past two weeks.
