Tezeno's Stock is Soaring

Things have heated up in a big way for Klein Collins offensive lineman Tyler Tezeno, who now has offers from four BCS conferences.

There are always a few players from the Lone Star State who emerge in the national radar during the spring evaluation period and Klein (Texas) Collins High's Tyler Tezeno is one of the them this year.

Checking in at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds the dominating interior lineman has drawn rave reviews from schools that have stopped off to see him.

The offers quickly followed and the biggest one yet was extended on Thursday per Klein Collins Head Coach Drew Svoboda.

"LSU offered him yesterday," Svoboda informed Texas recruiting analyst Ahmard Vital. "Rice was the first offer, but also Northwestern, West Virginia, Arizona State, Washington State and Indiana."

"Arkansas is really interested and they may be next."

Coaches like the fact that Tezeno, who is also a standout heavyweight wrestler, is a versatile prospect who could end up playing on either side of the ball.

"He's a really tremendous athlete," Svoboda explained. "He was offered by some schools to play defensive line."

All-in-all the college coaches just love his ceiling and the fact that he has the upside to develop in to a great college lineman.

"He has a great demeanor, is aggressive and has a big frame. He has got a wingspan of 6'8. He bends good at the knees and will get under you."
