Dziak Hitting The Recruiting Radar

Two weeks after an impressive showing at the Nike Football Training Camp in Columbus now finds Delaware Buckeye Valley (OH) defensive lineman Logan Dziak on the recruiting map. The 2014 defensive tackle has heard from some impressive schools recently.

Logan Dziak performed well at the recent Nike Football Training Camp in Columbus, and the Delaware (OH) Buckeye Valley 2014 defensive lineman has seen his recruiting interest grow.

"I've had a few programs come to my high school, and some have contacted my coach," Dziak stated Saturday at the Raw Talent Sports Camp. "Kent State and Ohio State were in the school last week. Luke Fickell was the Ohio State coach that stopped in and that was exciting for me. He gave me his business card, but he's not really allowed to talk to me right now. It was great to see that Ohio State knows who I am."

"I've also heard from schools like Stanford, Tennessee and Penn State," he added. "Stanford is a great school academically and they play great football, so I'm very interested. Tennessee has had my film for a while and they said they liked it. I'm very high on Penn State and plan on visiting there this summer. I want to study journalism and communications, and Penn State has a great program. They are one of my top choices, and I would love to go there."

Dziak, 6-foot-3, 275-pounds, impressed last weekend at Raw Talent and projects as a defensive tackle at the next level.

"Last year was good for me as a sophomore, and it was a good learning experience," he explained. "I got a lot of good reps, and was able to get my technique down pat. I'm working on overall conditioning for next season."
