He finally joined the 7on7 circuit earlier this month when he played with the Frat Boyz at the Passing Down 7on, and was one of the top performers there.
But Carrington really put himself on to the map with an MVP performance on Sunday at the Oakland NFTC.
With a strong group of defensive backs in attendance, Carrington had some spirited battles with some of the top corners, including four-star L.J. Moore, and more than held his own, and left Contra Costa College with the WR MVP.
Now, one of the top prospects in San Diego is seeing his recruitment really pick up, with four new offers coming in this week.
And Carrington has gone from lightly recruited to heavily recruited.
"I think I'm getting close to 20 offers now," said Carrington.
Carrington said he planned to do a number of school camps this summer, but was uncertain which ones he'd be doing.
Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Boston College, California, Colorado, Nevada, Northwestern, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Vanderbilt, Washington State and Montana have all offered Carrington.
