Florida OL now has several major offers

K.C. McDermott is one of the state's premier offensive line prospects and he landed several offers during the spring evaluation period.

K.C. McDermott has a few older brothers who received college football scholarships out of high school. It's only a matter of time before he signs his.

At 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, the Palm Beach Central left tackle prospect is one of the best in Florida and he's only going to be a junior this coming season. He's already emerged as one of the state's most heavily recruited players at his position.

"During the spring evaluation period Kc received offers from Florida, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Auburn, Michigan State, North Carolina, USF, FAU, and FIU," Randy, his father, said. "Other schools that visited his high school and indicated a strong interest are Alabama and Florida State. Several of those schools attended his spring game."

His plans for the summer, in terms of making college visits, are still up in the air right now.

"This summer Kc will be working with his team in summer drills and workouts preparing for the upcoming season," his father added. "We may get out to see some schools but nothing is planned right now."

McDermott's brother, Shane, is currently the starting center at the University of Miami.
