Harrison Louden adds new offers

Harrison Louden, offensive tackle from McGill-Toolen Catholic School in Mobile, Ala., has added schoalrship offers this spring. He is eager to begin summer camps in hopes of earning even more attention.

"I had the Arkansas State offer, and then South Alabama offered me," said Harrison Louden. "Memphis and UAB have also offered me. Georgia Tech, Louisiana Lafayette, Duke, Purdue, Louisiana Tech and a couple of others are showing interest.

"I like the new offers I have received. I am really excited about them. I really like the UAB offer. I feel like South Alabama and Arkansas State are recruiting me the hardest. South is really coming after me."

Louden will keep a busy summer camp schedule. He is open with all schools during the recruiting process.

"I am going to Mississippi State next week," he said. "I am going to Auburn, Georgia Tech on back-to-back weekends in July. I am going to the Southeastern offensive lineman camp. I was nominated for the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star game.

"I don't have any favorites right now. I am just waiting. I kind of want to see what else comes along. I am going to try to get out to Arkansas State, UAB and Memphis this summer."

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound prospect is gearing up for a big season for the Yellow Jackets. McGill-Toolen is one of the favorites in Class 6A.

"The spring went really well," Louden said. "We had our Black and Orange scrimmage. We did a lot a lot of good things. I feel like I improved my footwork. I did good at finishing blocks."

McGill-Toolen will have a good test in a fall jamboree game before the regular season against Northridge High School led by the state's top 2014 prospect, Bo Scarborough.
