Less than 48 hours after landing his first BCS offer, Frisco (TX) Centennial cornerback Ranthony Texada picks up two more. He has two visits scheduled this weekend.
"Baylor just offered!" exclaimed Texada via text message Tuesday night.
"It feels great," he told Scout.com's Greg Powers. "Knowing I have been flying under radar... and that the hard work is starting to show and pay off."
It most certainly is, as Iowa State came calling Thursday morning, followed by Indiana Thursday afternoon.
They hand the 5'9, 160-pounder his 12th and 13th offers, and join the likes of Air Force, Colorado State, Idaho, Navy, Nevada, UNLV, Wyoming and others in the bag.
"It's a blessing," he said. "I'm just taking it all in right now."
As he figures out which visits he will make this summer, there are two he knows for certain.
"I'm going to SMU Saturday and Baylor Sunday… My dad is going to Baylor with me and K.J. (Centennial teammate and 3-star Baylor commit)."
