"It went good," said Brazil of the NFTC. "It was a good experience. There wasn't any testing -- only drills, 7-on-7, and one-on-one drills. I felt like I did my best in the one-on-one drills. I've been working with my DB trainer and was able to shut down receivers."
Brazil met four-star DE Frank Herron, a local (Memphis) prospect out of Central High School.
Herron committed to LSU yesterday.
"I saw him put on a hat that said 'Tigers' and at first I thought it was (University of) Memphis because they're the Tigers," said Brazil in regard to Herron.
"Then somebody told me that he had just committed to LSU, so I went over and introduced myself. He said he's coming to LSU camp next week, and that he really likes it at LSU."
What else did Brazil say about the NFTC?
"Shelby Christy and I stayed together," he said of the three-star WR from Class 5A Dutchtown High School. "Shelby impressed. I saw the quarterback from Destrehan ('14 prospect Donovan Isom) and a bunch of guys from Karr.
"Noel Ellis from Karr (uncommitted four-star CB from the New Orleans area) was one of only four invites yesterday to The Opening (prestigious NIKE summer camp event). The staff yesterday said they're going to call me in a couple of days after they review all of the footage. I was in a different group than (Ellis), so I didn't get to watch him."
Brazil will be at LSU for the Tigers' upcoming camp.
"I'm mostly going to watch," he said. "I'm might participate one of the days. I'll be up there."
