First Offer For Ohio WR

Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary wide receiver Jordan Hargrove is one of the more overlooked prospects in Ohio, but he put up great numbers last season. He landed his first offer Tuesday.

Although he isn't mentioned as one of the top players in Ohio for 2013, Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary wide receiver Jordan Hargrove is anxious to prove he belongs in the discussion.

Tuesday evening, he learned he had received his first scholarship offer.

"I was offered by St. Francis (PA) today, and I'm very excited to receive my first offer," Hargrove stated.

He is also receiving recruiting interest from several MAC schools, as well as West Virginia, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Syracuse and Cincinnati.

Hargrove, 6-foot, 175-pounds, had a great junior season in 2011. For the year, he caught 51 passes for 900 yards and scored 13 touchdowns.
