Cooper, 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, stood out with his size and athleticism, which was impressive considering he performed at the RAS camp in Angola, Indiana, the day prior.
"I think I did really well today, even though I was kind of sore from the day before," Cooper stated. "I just did the best I could and I pushed through the pain and fatigue. My best position is defensive end, and I love playing that spot."
"My best thing is speed-rushing the quarterback off the edge, but I can play the run too," he added. "I need to work on my footwork and using my hands a lot better."
With three offers to his credit, Cooper is looking to see that number rise as he attends the individual college camps this month.
"I have offers from Ball State, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan," he reported. "Of those three, I have to say Northern Illinois is sticking out and I've been there for a visit. I'm also hearing from Notre Dame, Iowa State, Michigan State, Illinois, and a few others. I'm going to be going to Michigan State and Notre Dame in the next few weeks. Right now, my favorite school is Illinois and I would love to have that offer."
