St. Xavier running back Brandon Moore is still waiting for his first scholarship offer, but he knows he is on the right path. The 5-foot-9 senior talked with Scout.com about some of his off=season plans.

Brandon Moore is getting ready to kick camp season into high gear. He knows the camps are important for his chances to pick up some serious attention before the fall.

"Not much is happening right now. I'm just talking with coaches," he said. "I think camps are going to be crucial for me. I feel like some coaches still underestimate me a little bit," he said.

Moore has four camp visits in mind, in hopes of making a good impression.

"I plan to go to Indiana, Kent State and Kentucky. I'm going to try to go to Illinois State this summer for camp too.

"Hopefully I get an offer sometime soon, so I don't stress anymore," he continued.

Moore knows he has to be patient though and he's trying to learn as much as he can about the schools he's in contact with.

"I've just been doing my research on the schools. I'm not sure when I'll decide, but hopefully sooner than later," he finished.

Moore rushed for 458 yards and five touchdowns for St. Xavier last season.
