Fast-mover camping at Clemson

This rising junior wide receiver from Virginia will camp at Clemson later this month. There, he hopes to pick up an offer from the Tigers.

Lake Taylor High School [Norfolk, Va.] rising junior Jamil Kamara told CUTigers that Clemson was among the schools to stop by the school last month.

"They came by the school a couple of weeks ago, to check on me and a couple of my teammates," Kamara said.

With all of his Lake Taylor teammates, Kamara head to Clemson later this month for camp.

"I'll probably get that offer then when I go down there and show them what's up," he said.

Boston College, Illinois, Marshall, Miami, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech have offered.

Who leads?

"I've got a top-three. That's it for now. The top-three is UVA, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech."

Virginia: "They show a lot of love. I think I have a good chance of playing there as a freshman. A lot of 7-on-7 [teammates] are going there."

Virginia Tech: "I like the offense. I like the big quarterback they have, the type of receivers they have. I like the offense. I went to visit and I liked it."

Georgia Tech: "On their visit, they impressed me, too. They have receivers going to the league, and it's in Atlanta."

As a sophomore, Kamara had 40 catches for 500 yards and three touchdowns.
