Although he is committed currently to the University of Virginia, quarterback, Corwin Cutler picked up his fifth offer today. The offer is from Marshall University.
I caught up with Cutler a few weeks back prior to his offer and asked him some questions about his recruitment and what he knew of Marshall at this point. This was prior to his commitment to Virginia.
At the time of the interview, he did not hold a Marshall offer, but he knew a lot about the school. He was fully aware of the history of the plane crash and even knew that the program had a history of producing some very good wide receivers. Randy Moss and Troy Brown, were the two most notable, prior to Aaron Dobson, who is entering his senior season for the Herd and made big news last season with a sensational one handed catch against ECU to help lead the Herd to becoming bowl eligible.
Cutler was looking forward to possibly camping at Marshall over the summer and hoped to pick up an offer at that time.
As stated earlier, the three star quarterback from Ocean Lakes, Virginia is committed to Virginia. He stands 6'4" and weighs in at 190 pounds. Cutler expects to play quarterback at the next level.
Stay tuned to Herdhaven for further updates.
