"Things have been going pretty good besides my injury," said Johnson. "It's just temporary though.
"I hope to recover pretty fast."
The talented receiver is anxious to get back onto the summer work out plan with his teammates in hopes of putting together another state championship run.
"I think we're going to be very good," said Johnson. "We have some pretty good talent out there.
"Our young guys are starting to step up."
The Wildcats have a sophomore quarterback J'Mar Smith who can get Johnson the ball down the field.
The rising senior is poised for a big year this fall.
"I am working hard to get ready," said Johnson. "All there really is to do is work hard.
"There is no other way to get there."
Several schools are recruiting Johnson, but most appear to be content to follow for now.
"Nobody has offered me yet, but I feel some are going to after the season."
