Quick Take: Javon Harrison

We give a quick breakdown on Huber Heights, Ohio native Javon Harrison who gave his pledge to Toledo on Friday night.

Toledo added a verbal commitment from one of Ohio's top undervalued quarterbacks Javon Harrison on Friday night.

Here is a quick look at Harrison as a prospect.

Harrison brings great athletic skill and a solid arm to the field being able to make plays with his feet and arm. Playing in a shotgun spread attack; Harrison does a solid job of reading defenses and getting rid of the ball.

Arm strength is improving as Harrison continues to build it up after missing his sophomore season with an arm injury that required surgery. Can make all the throws needed to play at a high level.

Harrison is a player several BCS programs are still taking hard looks at. If he doesn't camp the rest of the summer, Toledo will have a better chance of holding onto him until Signing Day. However, he could still be a player that program come after in the first three weeks of his senior season.

Harrison is a player with a great upside that is still growing on the field. After being in the shadows of current Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller, Harrison is often looked at more harshly than he should be. The talent is there to be a high performer as he continues to improve his game by making better decisions and continues his recover from an arm injury that sidelined him during his sophomore season.
