Ohio Lineman Knows About Spartans

Make no mistake the interest Groveport (OH) Madison lineman Durrell Bristol has in Michigan State. What has he heard from the Green & White?

While Durrell Bristol doesn't know if a camp date with Michigan State is in his future, he does know a lot about the Spartans because of one person. Le'Veon Bell.

"Le'Veon Bell is from my school," said Bristol about the Spartans running back. "I didn't play with him, but when I was on the freshman team he was getting ready for college. He's really good and I watch Michigan State a lot."

The Spartans are taking a look and visited Bristol's high school to get more information.

"Coach (Mike) Tressel came to my school," said Bristol. "They learned how much I can bench and squat from my coach and that attracted them. So they came and got my highlight film and some game film to look at. I hope to be able to go up there for a camp but not sure yet."

At 6-foot-3, 320-pounds, Bristol is hearing from several programs and could be one of Ohio's biggest sleepers in the 2013 recruiting class.
