Jonathan Johnson was has been working hard to get recognition for his skills this off-season. After his play at the NFTC, the recognition could be right around the corner.

"I feel like I did good. I think I held my own in the one-on-ones. I was able to compete with everyone there. It was a really good experience," Johnson said.

The rising senior corner has been ran drills with both the corners and the safeties and he believes he impressed those in attendance.

"I showed them that I was able to compete with the top corners and safeties out there. They were impressed with my speed. And the coaches were impressed with my hard work," he continued.

So what's next for Johnson?

"I'll be in Kansas this week. I'll be at Notre Dame for a 7-on-7 tournament. I'll be at Northwestern for camp. I'll also be going to Purdue and Indiana for their camps," he continued.

Johnson also got a chance to visit an SEC program last month and was pleased with the experience.

"I visited Tennessee. That was pretty good. My mom was really enthusiastic about it. She wanted me to go there. There was a lot of southern hospitality down there," he said.

Johnson was happy with the friendly nature of the people in Knoxville.

"Everyone down there is so nice. You couldn't pass one person without them asking how you are doing. I enjoyed visiting with the players and talking with them. They gave me some advice," he finished.
