"I think that things went really well," said Garner. "I did really good and I believe I impressed Coach Collins with my performance.
"I really like the way he coaches and the energy he has."
The FCAHS standout believes he got better as the day went along. Once he got rid of the butterflies, Garner believes he did well in drills.
"I ran a 4.6 today and that was what I wanted," said Garner. "I feel really good about things up here at Mississippi State.
"I think things might work out for me here. They are going to do a staff meeting and then they are going to let me know something."
Garner reports that a commitment could happen quickly once the official word comes down.
"I would probably go on and commit," said Garner. "My family likes it up here too.
"Addarius (Perkins) told me that he loves it up here. He said the coaches are great, the football program is on the rise and that I need to come on up here and be a Bulldog."
